This text has been written by Josh Smythe and it is astonishingly similar to three experiences of mine with this company:
-I had 2insured flight
-1 ticket had to get canceled for emergency surgery
-called Expedia and cancelled
– they gave me cancelation info and numbers
– they DID NOT CANCEL THE FLIGHT
-the canceled flight was marked as missed
– instead over refunding what they owed THEY ASKED FOR AN ADDITIONAL$200 to the change the status of the flight for a credit
– after recovery from the surgery she tried to book the credit
-CAN NOT BOOK IT BECAUSE EXPEDIA DECIDED THAT HER RECOVERY TOOK TOO LONG
-called Expedia again
-they offered a$200 discount on a future hotel stay!!!!
**** THE INSURED FLIGHT COST $770 AND EXPEDIA IS TRING TO COMPENSATE WITH 1/4 THE VALUE!!!
-SHE DECLINED THE GARBAGE COMPENSATION OFFER
**** NOW EXPEDIA HAS BLOCKED HER FROM ALL COMMUNICATION, WONT RETURN CALLS OR EMAILS……. THEY STOLE $770 FROM AN ELDERLY LADY ON A FIXED INCOME**!!!!
Now I can guarantee “IF” Expedia replies to this.
It will be a generic “sorry for the inconvenience, please PM you intin# and contact info” OR “it wasn’t our deptartment, please contact them”
THEY ONLY POINT FINGERS AWAY FROM THEMSELVES AND PASS THE BUCK
THEN THE POST WILL BE IGNORED BECAUSE IT IS ONLY A SHOW FOR DAMAGE CONTROL #expedia
